Bill Gilhooley Watercolourist Billyg was born in the UK what seems ages ago. He now lives in retirement in New Zealand in a rural town called Motueka. His passion is art in all its branches especially painting waterolour landscapes and seascapes.Although in his sixties, Billy is enhancing his career as an artist by studying at home for an eventual Honours degree in Art and Creativity. He lives alone so his house has turned into a virtual three bedroomed studio.His artwork is on display at the local gallery in Motueka (www.nikaugallery.co.nz) and during the summer season at the cafe circuit in nearby Nelson.A member of both Nelson and Motueka Art groups Bill is also a member of the recently formed New Zealand Pastel Artists Society.Bill is available for commisions and can be reached at the points shown.
