I paint with transparent watercolor on cold pressed paper. My work ranges from abstract to representational, concentrating mostly on color relationships, composition, and pattern. My subjects usually come from smaller details rather than large scenic landscapes.
I have been painting for 15 years and have exhibited locally in the New Haven region. I have studied at the Creative Arts Workshop in New Haven, CT with Lora-Lee Bell and Graziella de Solidow, the Guilford Handcrafts center, in Guilford, CT with Joan Downey, as well as participating in various workshops: Skip Lawrence, George DeLaney, and others. I usually go to Monhegan Island in Maine in September to paint.
