Hawaiian Watercolors by Kerryn
Background Kerryn, a Chicago born artist, began drawing and painting as a young child under the tutelage of her artistic mother and grandfather. She continued to pursue art throughout high school and went on to study graphic design and painting at Bradley University where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts. It was not until she moved to Hawaii in 1977 that she became enamored by watercolor painting. She is a member of the Hawaii Watercolor Society and the National Watercolor Society. She has studied watercolor painting with reknowned artists...Jan Kunz and Jan Hofstetter as well as local artists at the Honolulu Academy of Arts. Her love of Hawaii's lush tropical gardens inspire her to paint the beauty that surrounds her.
Her artwork recently appeared on the cover of the American Airlines First Class Menu. Her original paintings and giclee prints belong in both private and corporate collections throughout the United States and Europe.
