Art is the act of creating. Its process connects the artist with his or her higher self and allows a breakthrough to a dimension beyond the old, providing society with discovery, invention and beauty. Each individual has been born with the ability to create. Whether this gift is stamped out or nurtured depends upon the lovers of art. Ignorance as in all things, is art's greatest enemy. It is this that produces fear in the multitudes and causes censorship of the child of art.
