Carole Berry is a versatile and active professional artist, who for the last 35 years, has combined calligraphy, sign art, advertising and murals with fine arts. She grew up in Ohio and attended Columbus College of Art and Design, majoring in Fashion design and advertising. In addition to her college training she has studied under Ed Gordon-oil, Alix Anderson-acrylic, and has taken workshops from Tony Couch-watercolor, and Ann Templeton-oils.
"Humming V
She has traveled throughout the United States painting the changing scenery, wildlife, and flowers. She has entered competitions and has won many awards and has works in private collections all over the country, and in several corporate collections by purchase award. Her paintings range from miniatures to murals and reflect interesting things in the area of residence as well from her travels.
"Who Goes?"
Her present production includes oil paintings, watercolor, and mixed media pieces. These pieces are attractively framed or matted for framing. Currently her works are on display at Gallery 100 in the Beading Basket on Tyler Street in Longview, Texas; The Brushwork’s Gallery in Big Springs, Texas; Penelope’s Gallery in Texarkana, Texas; and Sharron’s Gallery in Linden, Texas.
