| ARTIST STATEMENT | ||
| For 20 years watercolor has been my medium of choice for creative Artistic expression. It gives me freedom to paint in a loose impressionistic style. The spontaneity of this medium provides a range from light, transparent washes for still life paintings to exciting dark shadows for landscapes. Brilliant brushstrokes of color on white paper hold a never ending excitement for me. My wish is for every brushstroke of color to come vibrantly alive for the viewer, so they feel as if they were there. | ||

| JoBeth’s subjects of busy streets, still life’s and landscapes reflect her strong use of color. She has been instructing her colorful impressionistic techniques for the past 18 years. She has won numerous awards and has exhibited in gallery’s, banks, colleges and universities. Her paintings hang in collections in the United States and Europe.
