About the Artist

Trained as an on-location painter, Charlotte Britton enjoys painting landscapes, florals and from time to time, a still life. She combines plein air painting with studio work from travel sketches and photos. California's spectacular coastline, wine country and Sierra Nevada mountains are frequent subjects.

Charlotte has organized painting trips to England, Scotland, Spain and, most recently, to the Netherlands. She has also taken groups to scenic locations in the United States including the pueblos of New Mexico and Mesa Verde, along the coast of Maine and the Hudson River. She recently taught her tenth workshop for La Romita School of Art in Terni, Italy.
